The HILLVIEW team is beginning work on the European DETOUR Project – Development of sustainable tourism ecosystems along Mediterranean routes. It is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism sector and promoting sustainable tourism practices.
This project is part of our effort to make tourist destinations even more attractive, sustainable, and competitive. The HILLVIEW team is actively involved in initiatives in the Thracian tourist region—a place where we are delighted to develop a variety of adventures and experiences for all tourism enthusiasts.
What Is the Project? DETOUR?
DETOUR is a European initiative that helps the tourism industry grow through innovation, the sharing and adoption of best practices, and close collaboration among all stakeholders in the sector. The project we won SmartVelo Thrace: Smart Bicycle Routes for Sustainable Tourism in the Thracian Tourist Region is funded by the Thracian Tourism Region Management Organization under the DETOUR project, part of the EU's SMP program.
Our focus is on developing tourism in rural and natural regions. We want to offer even more interesting services and help businesses adapt more easily to modern challenges, such as climate change and seasonal fluctuations in demand.
Among our top priorities are supporting green and digital solutions, creating new and exciting tourism products, and building strong and lasting partnerships between local businesses and communities.
What will HILLVIEW accomplish as part of the project?
Our participation in DETOUR is an opportunity for us to develop tourism services in the Thracian tourist region and introduce new, more sustainable approaches to adventure tourism.

- Year-Round Tourism – Our goal is to create experiences that will delight visitors no matter the season.
- Strong local partnerships—we believe that, together with local businesses, we can create much richer and more comprehensive experiences for our guests.
